What Is Grim Chronicle?

Grim Chronicle is a publication dedicated to the stories history doesn’t let go of.

True crime. Historical disasters. Cover-ups, collapses, and mysteries that have never been fully solved. The cases that keep investigators awake. The events that changed the world and were then buried, distorted, or forgotten.

We tell these stories clearly, seriously, and without sensationalism. No gore for its own sake. No conspiracy theories dressed up as fact. Just rigorous research, honest writing, and a genuine respect for the people these stories are about.

Why These Stories?

Because they matter.

The Zodiac Killer was never caught — and understanding why tells us something real about how criminal investigations work and fail. Chernobyl killed people not just because of a reactor flaw but because of a system that valued image over truth. Enron destroyed thousands of lives not through violence but through paperwork and willful blindness.

These are not just dark entertainment. They are case studies in how institutions fail, how power is abused, and how ordinary people get caught in the machinery of extraordinary events.

Understanding them is worth the discomfort of looking directly at them.

What You’ll Find Here

  • True Crime — deep dives into the cases that defined forensic investigation, from unsolved murders to the crimes that changed the law
  • Dark History — the disasters, cover-ups, and collapses that shaped the modern world
  • Mysteries — the events that have resisted explanation for decades, examined honestly and without embellishment

Every article is thoroughly researched. Every claim is based on documented evidence. Where something is disputed or unknown, we say so.

The Format

Grim Chronicle exists as both a publication and a YouTube channel — @GrimChronicleShow — where the same stories are told in video form.

A Note on Tone

These are stories about real events and, in many cases, real victims. We approach them with the seriousness they deserve.

Our goal is never to exploit tragedy. It is to understand it — and to make sure the stories that should be remembered, are.

New stories published regularly. If you have a case or event you think deserves coverage, reach out.
